MOTHER 'S DAY 2015

I am your mother. I have taken care of you from the day you were placed in my arms. I have fed and clothed you. I have taken care of you when you were ill. I have laughed with you when you expressed delight and joy. I have helped you try out new things, pursue your interests, and develop your skills. I have introduced you to family and friends of all ages. I have chosen caretakers and schools and activities to build your social skills and widen your horizons. I told you about your adoption and answered your questions. I will always be here for you.

She is your mother, too.  She brought you into this world. She made a difficult and courageous decision to provide you with a better life than she had to offer.  She gave you your beautiful eyes and hair. She gave you your talents and abilities. She gave me a gift that pales in comparison to no other. She chose me to be your mother.

We may meet or not, may be in touch or not, may coordinate visits or not, but  we will always have you in our hearts. We will always be your mothers.
